    • While Zeilman-James Homes primarily builds on land their clients own, they can provide guidance on acquiring land if needed. As a home builder with over 75 years of collective experience building homes, we have the knowledge and expertise to guide you through the entire building process.

    • Yes, our team will manage all the necessary permits and ensure that all construction is up to local codes and regulations. The location of your property (County, Township and Community) will determine what will be required with your new home. One of our Building Consultants will guide you through each step of the process. We offer customized packages that vary from handling some aspects to our “Turn Key Service” that includes handling every detail.

    • Yes, you can choose from many pre-designed floor plans or have a custom plan built to your specifications. Our Affordable Custom Series can be changed without additional fees and enhanced with custom options. Our higher end Architectural Series homes are customizable for a modest fee. Whatever your needs, we’re happy to work with you to make sure your building experience with Zeilman-James Homes meets and exceeds your expectations.

    • A dedicated project manager will oversee the process of building your dream home, ensuring that it meets all your specifications and quality standards.

    • Zeilman-James Homes breaks the building process into 5 specific stages: Foundation; Framing; Drywall; Trim; and Final. During these stages we will go through your home and make certain that everything meets our strict standards and more importantly, yours.

    • Yes, we include items in every home that will improve energy efficiency, such as the Bryant® 14 SEER heat pump, R-50 ceiling insulation, R-19 wall insulation, low-E double pane windows, and more.

    • At Zeilman-James Homes we believe that building quality homes is only the beginning of serving you as a top quality builder. We also stand behind the home we build with a solid service warranty that provides prompt and professional service. Your Sales Consultant will review all of the details of our warranty program during your consultation.

    • Zeilman-James Homes provides various financing options, which can be detailed during your consultation based on your project. Our policy does require that you use one of our preferred or approved lenders for your construction loan needs. If you choose a Zeilman-James preferred lender, you will receive a $500 discount.
